Having worked 10+ years in the counseling industry, Monica is experienced with working with a diverse range of students with varying needs, from straight-A students aiming to stand out amongst their peers, to students seeking solutions to salvage their profile before application deadlines. She believes that there are always ways to elevate a student’s profile at any stage of their high school journey.

Monica is an expert in evaluating students to identify areas for improvement, and tailoring personalized plans to elevate her students’ profiles, maximizing their chances of admission to their dream schools. She specializes in assisting with the development of passion projects that are unique to each student. Several of her students have even continued their passion projects beyond high school.

Her approach emphasizes thoughtful strategy and honest storytelling. By helping students better understand how their academic interests, extracurriculars, and personal motivations connect, she aims to ensure that each application reflects a cohesive and genuine story.
